Speaker of the Parliament arrives in Algeria

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi arrived today, Thursday, in Algeria, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, to participate in the meetings of the 17th session of the Conference of the of the parliamentary union of the OIC Member States PUIC.

 A statement by the media office of the Speaker of Parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi arrived in Algeria, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation that includes Deputy Parliament speaker Shakhwan Abdullah and a number of deputies, where he was received by the Speaker of the Algerian National People's Assembly, Ibrahim Boghali.

 The statement added, "The parliamentary delegation will participate in the meetings of the 17th session of the Conference of the parliamentary union of the OIC Member States PUIC.

 It pointed out that "Al-Halbousi will chair the meeting of the Arab Geopolitical Group held on the sidelines of the conference."
