Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani dismissed on Monday, the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), Mustafa Ghaleb Makhaif, from his post.
A government source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani decided to sack CBI Governor Mustafa Ghaleb Makhaif of his post, at his request."
The source added, " Prime Minister appointed Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq."
