Oil prices continued to rise today, Friday, crossing the barrier of $85 a barrel.
Brent crude futures recorded $85.03 a barrel after seven o'clock Baghdad time, and had closed yesterday at $84.03.
US crude contracts reached $79.62 a barrel, while they had closed yesterday at $78.39.
