Rashid and the National Union stress the speedy approval of the budget

the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, emphasized today, Monday, the speedy approval of the budget.
 
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, at the Baghdad Palace, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani," noting that "during the meeting, they discussed the overall political, security and economic conditions in Iraq in general, including the situation in the Kurdistan region.
 
The statement added, "During the meeting, they discussed the government's ministerial program and the need to support it to ensure the provision of the necessary services to citizens in a way that achieves their aspirations for a decent life."  Pointing out that "emphasis has also been placed on expediting the approval of the budget to begin serious work on the completion of projects that would strengthen the infrastructure of all governorates."
