President Rashid salutes the unique hospitality of the people of Basra

The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, saluted on Sunday, the unique Arab hospitality of the people of Basra for the guests of Iraq coming to participate and follow the matches of the Gulf Championship 25.

The Office of the Presidency of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The President of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Kamel al-Dulaimi, conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic to the people of Basra, during a phone call that the President of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic made with Sheikh Kadhem al-Saraifi, one of the sheikhs of the Basra tribes."

The statement  added, "Al-Dulaimi praised the generous and unique Arab hospitality provided by Al-Saraifi, the sons of his tribes, and the people of Basra to the guests of Iraq coming to participate and follow the matches of the Gulf Sports Championship 25 that Basra is witnessing these days."

Al-Dulaimi told Al-Saraifi, according to the statement, "I convey to you and all the people and tribes of Basra the greetings and appreciation of the President of the Republic, Abdullatif Rashid," adding that " generosity are not strange to the people, cities and tribes of Iraq."
