The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, stressed on Wednesday, the need to remove signs of militarisation from cities and remove concrete barriers.
The Presidency of the Republic said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, received, today, Wednesday, at the Baghdad Palace, National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji," noting that "the security situation and the importance of strengthening its stability were emphasized to ensure the safety of citizens and to support the economic progress in the country."
The President of the Republic affirmed that "security stability contributes effectively to encouraging the necessary investments to develop the economy, create job opportunities," stressing "the need to work to remove military manifestations from cities and remove signs of militarisation from cities and remove concrete barriers.
