Al-Sudani receives the Ambassadors of GCC and Yemen

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani stressed on Monday, the importance of 25th Arabian Gulf Cup , and described it as a remarkable symbol for the Iraqis and the participating Arab brothers and an opportunity for the brothers to meet in the land of hospitable Iraq.
     
    The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Sudani received in Basra the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the ambassador of Yemen to Iraq."
     
    The statement added, "During the meeting, they reviewed the overall Iraqi relations with the GCC countries and all Arab countries, and the most prominent areas in which work is being done to develop cooperation and partnership, for the benefit of the Iraqi people and the brotherly peoples."
     
    It pointed out, "The meeting discussed the latest preparations made by Iraq to host 25th Arabian Gulf Cup in Basra, on the sixth of next January."
     
    For their part, the ambassadors referred to "the support of their countries for the success of this championship," highly appreciating "the efforts made by Iraq to achieve this goal."
