The Security Media Cell announced Thursday the arrest of 5 wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
A statement of the Cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "within the framework of the special intelligence measures taken by the Iraqi National Intelligence Service to pursue fugitive terrorists, monitor their movements, and provide the competent authorities with information about their whereabouts, and after coordination with the Anti-Terrorism Service in Sulaymaniyah Governorate and the Joint Operations Command, 5 wanted terrorists were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.”
It added, "The criminals were among the terrorist targets required by the Iraqi National Intelligence Service," noting that "the necessary legal measures have been taken against them."
