Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian confirmed today, Tuesday, that his country supports a unified, stable and developed Iraq.
Abdollahian said in his speech during the second Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The convening of the Baghdad conference comes in support of Iraq," stressing the support of the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani.
He added, "We worked to develop relations with neighboring countries, including Iraq," noting that "Iraq plays an important role in the region."
Abdollahian praised the steps of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani in establishing peace in the region.
The second Baghdad Summit was launched in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the participation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani.
