An army plane crashed due to a technical fault in Samarra, MOD reports

The Ministry of Defense (MOD) announced on Tuesday, that an armed plane crashed near the Al-Jalasi station in Samarra, due to a 'Technical failure'.

“An armed plane belonging to the Army Aviation Command crashed near the Al-Jalasi station in Samarra, due to a technical failure'in the plane's engine,” A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated.

The statement pointed out that "the plane was carrying (2) officers, and a member of the command, as they have been taken Samarra Hospital to receive the necessary treatment."
