Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani confirmed today, Monday, Iraq's keenness to maintain the distinguished relationship with Jordan, while the Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein indicated that Iraq's security is a basic pillar for the region's security and stability.
The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani met, today, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, during his official visit to the capital, Amman, which he arrived at a time earlier today," noting that "during the meeting, which was attended by the Crown Prince of the Kingdom, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and emphasized the need to continue coordination and consultation between Iraq and Jordan regarding various issues of common concern, in a way that achieves interests it serves Arab causes.
