Al-Sudani receives President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi stressed on Sunday, the importance of supporting the current government by political and social actors to carry out its national duty.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-sudani received Hamoudi today Sunday, and the meeting witnessed a discussion of the general situation in the country."

The statement added, "The meeting witnessed an emphasis on the importance of supporting the current government by political and social actors to carry out its national duty in meeting the needs of citizens and correcting many wrong paths towards fighting corruption and developing institutional performance."
