Iraqi Court: Daesh terrorist is sentenced to life in prison

The Central Criminal Court issued on Monday, a life sentence against a terrorist criminal belonging to Daesh.
The media office of the Supreme Judicial Council, said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the criminal participated with the terrorist ISIS in an attack against the security forces in Hit district in 2016."
The statement added, "The verdict was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article IV/1 and in terms of Article II/1, 3 and 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005 and the inference of the provisions of Article 132/1 of the Penal Code."
