The security, health and civil defense services in Sulaymaniyah were mobilized today, Thursday, at the site of the explosion, while the provincial health director explained the cause of the accident .

The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said, "The security, health and civil defense services mobilized today, at the site of the explosion that occurred in the Kwiza district of the governorate."

While the Director of Health of Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Sabah Hawrami, confirmed in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the accident was caused by the explosion of a liquid gas tank," indicating that "all hospitals were on alert to receive the wounded."
