    National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji stressed today, Tuesday, the importance of the international community being cohesive against terrorism.
    A statement issued by the media office of the National Security Adviser and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Al-Araji received in his office today, Tuesday, the American ambassador in Baghdad, Alina Romanowski, and they discussed the latest political and security developments in Iraq and the region, and the continuation of cooperation and partnership in the field of combating terrorism, as well as Looking forward to ending the file of the Syrian al-Hol camp and the need to dismantle it, to prevent the emergence of a new generation of terrorist Daesh.
    During the meeting, Al-Araji stressed the importance of the international community being cohesive against terrorism, noting that the recent bombing incident in Istanbul is a terrorist act, and it is necessary to stand against terrorism and pursue it wherever it is, until it is eliminated, according to the statement.
    For her part, the US ambassador stressed that "the international community still has a long way to go to defeat ISIS," reiterating the United States' continued support to the Iraqi government, and assistance in building the capabilities of the Iraqi security services in the long term.
    Romanowski pointed out that "Her country focuses on economic, health and cultural programs, support efforts to combat corruption, and enhance the security aspect."
