Seizing unlicensed weapons and ammunition in Basra

The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced on Tuesday, the seizure of various unlicensed weapons and ammunition in Basra.
A statement of the SMC, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated: stated that "the Basra Operations Command carried out pre-emptive operations to search separate areas in the north of the province."
The statement added, "The operation resulted in the seizure of various unlicensed weapons and ammunition, indicating that" the seized materials were dealt with duly.
