The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, confirmed today, Monday, that the government's ministerial program included providing support to the security services of all kinds.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, met with a group of officers and commanders of the Kurdistan Regional Guard forces, the Peshmerga, headed by the Chief of Staff of the Forces, Lieutenant-General Issa Aziz. ".
"The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces received congratulations from the officers and employees of the Peshmerga Guard Forces on the occasion of assuming his duties, and they also praised the measures and decisions taken by Al-Sudani, which are aimed at achieving security and stability."
According to the statement, Al-Sudani expressed his appreciation for the courage of the Regional Guards and the sacrifices they made during the war against ISIS terrorist gangs, stressing that “the destiny of Iraq is one, and the challenges are great, and confronting it requires Stand in a row, and high coordination with the decisions and directives issued by the federal government”.
Al-Sudani stressed that "the government's ministerial program included providing great support to the security services and our armed forces of all kinds, to perform their tasks in enforce security and stability and defending the unity of the national country."
