Four Iraqis among injured in Istanbul blast

Iraqi Consulate in Istanbul announced on Monday, that four Iraqis were wounded in Istanbul blast yesterday.
 
A statement by the consulate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that it followed with great interest the terrorist blast that targeted Taksim area, where the Consul General moved immediately after the incident to the relevant Turkish authorities to find out the number of victims from the Iraqi community.
 
"The number of wounded Iraqis due to the explosion reached 4, three of them had minor injuries. They were treated and discharged from the hospital," the statement added.
The statement continued "The fourth wounded person is currently undergoing surgery as a result of his lung injury," stressing that "the consulate is following up with the management of Kolan Şişli hospital, his health condition."
