Barcelona rose up with a 3-0 victory over its guest Villarreal, today, Thursday, in the tenth round of La Liga, in the Blaugrana stronghold "Spotify Camp Nou", after the loss in the Clasico against Real Madrid (3-1) and the loss of the lead.
The goals of the meeting were scored by: Robert Lewandowski in the 31st and 35th minutes, and Ansu Fati in the 38th minute. With this victory, Barcelona raised its score to 25 points, in the second place in the La Liga standings, while Villarreal froze at 15 points, in ninth place.
The match started with pressure from the hosts, as Ansu Fati hit the left side of the Villarreal penalty area, a ball that hit the left post of Roli's goal, the yellow submarine goalkeeper, in the 3rd minute.
Fati returned to threaten the Villarreal goal with a header, which passed over the crossbar in the 19th minute.
Robert Lewandowski scored the first goal, in the 31st minute, after receiving a cross into the penalty area from Jordi Alba, to spin it with goalkeeper Roli, before putting it in the net.
Lewandowski added the second goal, in the 35th minute, after receiving a pass from Jaffe, to start and fire a rocket-propelled grenade to the far left of the goalkeeper.
