Al-Kadhimi calls all the political parties to engage in a constructive dialogue

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed, on Monday, that the early elections were the results of the demands of the great people of Iraq.
     
    Al-Kadhimi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "On this day last year, October 10, 2021, the most significant obligation in our government program was implemented, as early parliamentary elections were held, characterized by fair and professionalism, according to the testimony of the United Nations and all other observers," noting, " were the results of the demands of the great people of Iraq, and the call of the Marja’yia for participation.”
     
    The statement added, "one year along, these elections proved that ballots alone are not enough absent the belief in democratic principles and values by all participating political actors.”
     
    He continued, "Over the past two years, we adopted policies of dialogue, understanding, cooperation, and partnership, we dealt with events rationality, despite continues unjust attacks with the aim of establishing a political culture away from violence and tyranny in our beloved Iraq  that has suffered deeply to get to where we are today .”
     
    The Prime Minister called on "All political parties to engage in a constructive dialogue to resolve the current political crisis through comprehensive national solutions that strengthen our young democracy and support the pillars of stability and prosperity."
