6 terrorists, 3 drug dealers arrested in three governorates: DMI

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced Wednesday the arrest of 9 terrorists and drug dealers in three provinces.

" A statement by DMI, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: "in Qualitative pre-emptive operations aimed at toppling terrorist elements, and based on accurate intelligence information of the Tuz Khurmatu Operations Command, the Maysan Operations Command, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Anbar, the Tuz Khurmatu Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Section and the Tuz Khurmatu Drug Division, six terrorists, three drug dealers and two accused of other legal substances were arrested in the district of Amara and in the Shihabi area, in accordance with the provisions of article 4 terrorism, article 28 narcotics and article 413.”

The statement added that "after completing the necessary procedures against the arrestees, they were originally handed over to the concerned authorities."
