The Iraqi Media Network discussed developing relations between the two sides on Wednesday with Lebanese Minister of Information Paul Morcos. Morcos expressed his willingness to develop relations with the Iraqi Media Network.
The Iraqi Media Network's office in Beirut stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The Director of the Iraqi Media Network's office in Beirut, Ahmed Al-Athari, visited the Lebanese Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, at his office at the ministry. The meeting addressed strengthening and developing media relations between the two sides."
The Minister expressed "the ministry's readiness to provide any media support that serves the network and its office in Beirut. He also proposed cooperation with the network, including working with Lebanese Television to broadcast documentaries about Iraq, its culture, civilizations, and tourist sites."
For his part, Al-Athari affirmed "the network's readiness to cooperate in various fields." He invited the Minister to visit Baghdad and attend the Arab Media Conference, which is being held in Iraq this April.
