The Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media, the head of Iraqi media network (IMN), Dr, Nabil Jassim chaired the meetings of the Permanent Committee of Arab Media.
“Dr. Nabil Jassim, chaired the meetings of the 97th session of Permanent Committee for Arab Media in the Arab League, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Assistant Secretary-General and Supervisor of the Media and Communication Sector at the Arab League, Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, and representatives of Arab countries,” said the correspondent of The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"We are honored and pleased with your attendance to the meeting of the 97th session of Permanent Committee for Arab Media, and we appreciate your great role and your continuous efforts in the previous sessions, the last of which was held in Baghdad last March," Dr. Nabil Jassim said.
He added: "We look forward at this session to come up with important recommendations regarding the topics presented on the agenda, as the Palestinian cause and its challenges come at the forefront of this agenda, in addition to the basic issues that emerged from the modernity phase and the communications and information revolution, as well as how to formulate the Arab media discourse to confront terrorism, and consolidating the media discourse directed abroad, and other items that will be discussed in this session.”
