Al-Amiri and the French ambassador discuss the political situation

The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri discussed with the French ambassador to Iraq Eric Chevallet, today, Thursday, the political situation in the country.

Al-Fateh media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Amiri received in his office in Baghdad today, Thursday, the French ambassador to Iraq" Eric Chevalier.
The statement added, "The two sides discussed the political situation and practical steps to expedite the formation of the new government, as well as discussing Relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.” .

The statement indicated that “the French ambassador praised Al-Amiri’s efforts in his efforts to contain the current political crisis,” stressing at the same time that his country is fully prepared for any mediation in order to get out of the political crisis.
