Baghdad, INA- First deputy speaker of parliament, Mr. Hassan Karim al-Kabi, received Prime Minister Designate Adel Abdul Mahdi in the Parliament Building on Wednesday. A statement by the information office of first deputy speaker, a copy of which was received by INA, says that Abdul Mahdi held a meeting with the head and members of the Inner Regulations Committee in the parliament in order to discuss the coordination between the executive and legislative authorities. According to the statement Kabi said that the parliament will be the supportive base for the new government as long as it remains at the service and support of the Iraqi people and does its best to answer their needs to the fullest, stressing that the next stage will witness high coordination between the executive and legislative authorities so as to come up with laws, visions and decisions which converge on serving Iraqi citizens.
