Salih: Efforts are continuing to support the paths of dialogue between the political forces

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received a phone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan.
 
A statement by the President's media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "King Abdullah expressed, during the phone call, the keenness and support of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the security and stability of the Iraqi people," referring to "the close relationship that unites the two brotherly countries."
 
The statement added, "The Jordanian King expressed his hope to overcome the political crisis through dialogue and convergence in a way that achieves security, stability and prosperity for Iraqis."
 
The statement continued, "President Salih expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Abdullah II for his keenness and follow-up on the situation in the country," pointing out "existing efforts to support the paths of dialogue between the political forces to reach solutions that guarantee the safety of Iraq and Iraqis."
