The meeting of the political blocs’ leaders begins in the Government Palace

On Wednesday, the leaders of the political blocs held a meeting at the government palace at the invitation of Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
 
An informed source told the Iraqi News Agency INA that "the leaders of the political blocs held a meeting a short while ago, at the Government Palace in Baghdad, based on the invitation issued by Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi yesterday."
 
Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi called on the leaders of national political blocs to hold a national meeting at the Government Palace on Wednesday to start a national dialogue, pointing out that this call comes out of the common national responsibility that unites Iraqis on the principle of preserving Iraq's unity, security and stability.
 
In an official statement, Al- Kadhimi called on all national parties to stop the public and media escalation and to give enough space to centrist discussions to take their place in the national debate.
