Al-Amiri and Talabani agree to continue talks and constructive dialogue

The head of Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi al-Amiri and the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Jalal Talabani, agreed to continue talks and constructive dialogue.

The office of the National Union stated in a statement, that "Bafel Jalal Talabani, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, received Hadi al-Amiri, the leader of al- Fatah coalition, and during the meeting, which was attended by a member of the Diwan, Shalaw Kosrat Rasoul to discuss the latest political developments and new initiatives to solve the problems that facing the Iraqi elections, and views were exchanged."

The statement added, "The two sides agreed to continue talks and constructive dialogue to bypass constitutional and legal ways to get out of the unwanted situation."

Talabani stressed, according to the statement, that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan will take any initiative that all parties meet, and the goal is to reach an agreement and save the country from the current situation.

He explained that "President Mam Jalal's policy previously called for the Kurdish national dialogue to overcome obstacles."
