The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Monday, launching new security operation southwest of Kirkuk.
PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "A force from the 16th Brigade of PMF carried out a security operation southwest of Kirkuk Governorate."
"The operation included Wadi Al-Khassa area, the villages of Jarad Glu and Maadid Qatash, southwest of Kirkuk, to search for wanted persons to enhance security and stability there," the statement added.
