The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced on Thursday, the arrest of five terrorist in the Sulaymaniyah province .
Rasul said, in a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "With a tactical operation that was characterized by accuracy and speed, the detachments of the Sulaymaniyah Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security were able to overthrow five terrorist elements in the Sulaymaniyah province."
He added, "The terrorists have been issued with arrest warrants in accordance with Article (4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law from the Nineveh Investigation Court."
