UK Minister of State: The international community is awaiting for the results of investigation into the Turkish bombing

    British Minister of State Amanda Milling confirmed on Sunday, that the international community is waiting for the results of the Iraqi government's investigation into the Turkish bombing.
     
    Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said in statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a phone call from the British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Amanda Milling," pointing out that " The Minister expressed her condemnation and denunciation of the bombing of a tourist resort in the city of Zakho in Dohuk governorate, which led to the death and injury of a number of safe Iraqi civilians, including women and children.”
    The statement added that "The current developments and their impact on bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ankara were discussed," stressing "the need to find a joint dialogue between the two neighboring countries."
     
    MOFA statement also mentioned that "The two ministers reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom, ways to strengthen them, and discuss developments in the regional and international arena."
     
    Amanda Milling stressed the UK's commitment to fully support Iraq's sovereignty in order to ensure its security and stability," noting that "the international community awaits the results of the investigation conducted by the Iraqi government."
