Deputy Speaker of Parliament chairs a joint meeting of three parliamentary committees

Deputy Speaker of parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, chaired Thursday the joint meeting of three parliamentary committees to discuss five laws.
 
A statement by the Media Office of the Deputy Speaker of the parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, chaired the joint meeting of three parliamentary committees, namely, security, defense, human rights, transportation and communications, to discuss a number of laws."
 
The statement added that "the meeting will discuss the draft law on information crimes, the draft law on freedom of expression, assembly and peaceful demonstration, the draft law on the Media and Communications Authority, the draft law on communications and informatics, and the draft law on the Ministry of Communications and Technology."
