The Intelligence Agency announced the seizure of 290 launchers and more than 30 mortars in Samarra.
A statement by the Security Media Cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "according to accurate intelligence information, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency's detachments in the Ministry of Interior were able to seize a stockpile of equipment belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs in Mukashifa district of Samarra Governorate, containing 290 RBG7 launchers and (35) mortar pile and (32) mortar of (60) mm caliber.
The statement indicated that "this operation comes within a series of pre-emptive operations carried out by the intelligence agency to dry up the sources of terrorism and control its weapons."
