UN: Poultry sector strategies revive agriculture and three measures to solve the water problem in Iraq

    United Nations confirmed on Thursday, that the strategies of the poultry and tomato sector for sustainable development will revive Iraqi agriculture, while identifying three measures to solve the water problem.

    She added, "The project carried out by the International Trade Center with our partners in the International Labor Organization and the International Organization for Migration will revive the agricultural sector in Iraq."

    She continued, "Climate change and the water crisis in Iraq will require good and rational management of water resources and government support for the development of water resources, not only for the quality of water, but for providing it to farms, families and homes."

    The UN official added, "We need good industry that will process foodstuffs to be fit for consumption in Iraqi society, whether from the tomato crop or poultry."
