    Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) managed on Friday, to arrest a gang for counterfeiting currency and accused of terrorism in Baghdad province.

    The Security Media Cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "within the plans designed by the BOC, the security forces continue to pursue terrorist elements and organized crime elements in coordination with the Intelligence and Security Command Department, where a force from the 15 police brigade was able to and while conducting a security exercise, the arrest of a suspect in accordance with Article 4/1 of terrorism after monitoring his movements in a hotel within the Al-Bataween area in central Baghdad.

    The statement indicated that "a force from the Eighth Brigade, the Second Division, Federal Police, and during a thorough inspection of vehicles and people, was able to arrest a gang of currency counterfeiting consisting of two suspects in possession of forged sums of money in the Al-Masbah area, next to Al-Karkh," indicating that "a force from the Brigade (the) 42) The Eleventh Infantry Division, and through the installation of sudden controls, was able to seize a vehicle that did not carry traffic registration plates and contained unlicensed weapons and narcotics in the Adhamiya area next to Rusafa.
