Salih discusses with a delegation of independent deputies the political developments

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and a delegation of independent deputies discussed political developments and the challenges facing the country.

The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received, today, Thursday, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, a delegation of independent representatives in Parliament.

  "During the meeting, they discussed the political developments and challenges facing the country at the current stage, and the need to work to confront it with responsibly, unite everyone and consolidate the national row, and give priority to the interest of the country and citizens," noting that "emphasis was placed on taking into account the aspirations of the people and their service and livelihood needs, ensuring security and stability in the country and consolidating the state and its reference.”
