    Baghdad-INA
The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced today, Tuesday, the objection of some deputies to two points regarding the emergency support law for food security and development.

Committee member Nermin Maarouf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the reservation of some deputies regarding emergency support law for food security and development is related to two points," noting that "the first point is about the size of the amounts allocated to some items, which are considered great, as the proposed law reaches its allocated amounts about a quarter of the general budget.

She added, "The second point is regarding the party that implements the law, which is the caretaker government, as some see giving these large sums a waste of public money or opening new ways to corruption," noting that "the financial maximum of the law is not to exceed the amount of 25 trillion dinars."

The head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Hassan Al-Kaabi, announced, earlier, that his committee would vote on the entirety of the provisions of the food security bill and send it to the Presidency of the House of Representatives, while the presidency decided to set tomorrow, Wednesday, the date for holding the voting session on the law.
