Al-Halbousi meets the foreign ministers of Egypt and Jordan

    Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi confirmed today, Monday, to  the Egyptian Foreign Minister Samih Shoukry and Jordan's Ayman Al-Safadi, Iraq's keenness to strengthen its relations with the two countries.
     
      Al-Halbousi, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Samih Shoukry, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi, in the presence of Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein," pointing out that "The meeting discussed strengthening joint cooperation in the political, security and economic fields, and affirming the continuity of coordination and consultation within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan, to face the current challenges."
     
    Al-Halbousi stressed, during the meeting, according to the statement by his office, "Iraq's keenness to strengthen its relations with the two countries, develop cooperation mechanisms in all fields, as well as coordinate positions in international forums to serve the peoples of the three brotherly countries."
