The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salah al-Din Muhammad Bahaa al-Din, stressed today, Monday, the necessity of achieving constitutional entitlements.
The media office of the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Salih received the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, and during the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country and political developments."
The statement added, "The need to achieve national and constitutional entitlements and end the political crisis by relying on dialogue and convergence was emphasized to overcome the outstanding issues between the parties in a spirit of responsibility and patriotism, and to begin meeting the living and service requirements of citizens as a top priority by forming a capable government that is able to respond to the country's immediate requirements."
