Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed on Sunday, the government's interest in developing artificial intelligence and supporting scientific research in this field.
"Al-Kadhimi received on Sunday , the Iraqi scientist, Professor Dr. Diaa Al-Jumaili, who specializes in artificial intelligence," The media office of the Prime Minister said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Kadhimi praised ,during the meeting ,"the achievements and scientific status achieved by Dr. Al-Jumaili at the international level, which has received great attention in the global scientific community."
He stressed, "The Government's interest in developing artificial intelligence facilities, supporting scientific research in this field, as well as encouraging Iraq to acquire a scientific base for this modern development, and developing the competent Iraqi cadres."
For his part, Dr. Al-Jumaili thanked Prime Minister for the good hospitality, and praised "the Iraqi minds and government programs that seek to support the innovators and develop their role in the sustainable development.."
