Maysan Ops confirm its control over clan conflicts and warn against rumor mongers

     Maysan Operations Command confirmed on Saturday, the stability of the security situation in the province, while warning rumor mongers that it would resort to the judiciary to file lawsuits against them, stressing the control over clan conflicts that occur from time to time in the province.
     
    Maysan Operations Commander, Major General Muhammad Jassim Al-Zubaidi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The security situation in Maysan Governorate is very good," noting that "what is being circulated on social media is incorrect, everyone should be careful and take information from official sources.” 
     
    Regarding the clan conflict erupted last Wednesday in Al-Uzair district, south of the governorate, he confirmed that "the situation has been contained and resolved, as the security forces entered and imposed their control in the village of Al-Farqa, south of Al-Uzair district."
     
    He pointed out that "The citizens there welcomed the security forces and their imposing the full control over the area."
