Baghdad-INA
The Ministry of Health(MOH) confirmed Friday, its intention to bring in foreign medical cadres to treat patients inside the country, instead of sending them abroad, noting that there are two recruited medical teams in each of the governorates of Babil and Karbala, as well as a team in Ibn Sina Hospital.
“The ministry turned towards medical recruitment, when there is a health procedure, and we are for one reason or another unable to perform it, either because of infrastructure, devices, experiences, people or training, we will bring the professional team to Iraq, and we earn a lower cost, and it is easier for the patient to be treated inside his country, even if it is in another province,” The spokesman for MOH, Saif Al-Badr, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
