Peshmerga forces repel an attack by ISIS gangs in Altun Kobri

The Peshmerga forces announced that they had repelled an attack by ISIS gangs in the town of Altun Kobri, northwest of Kirkuk .

The commander of the 10th Peshmerga Brigade, Babir Sheikh Wasani, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "ISIS terrorist gangs carried out an attack on the 10th Peshmerga Brigade in Altun Kubri in Kirkuk Governorate, but the Peshmerga forces managed to confront the attack.".

He added that "the attack did not result in any casualties among the Peshmerga."
