Security Media Cell announced Sunday the results of the second day of Solid Will Operation.
A statement by the cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "within the second phase of Operation Solid Will and for the second day in a row, and under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, the participating security units were able to achieve a number of goals set for them according to accurate intelligence information, as they were found a den by the Rapid Response Brigade contains weapons, explosive devices in the Albu Karma area of the Diyala sector, noting that "the Special Forces, along with the Anti-Terrorism Service, carried out three landings in the depths of the desert."
The statement added, "A den was found by the 74th Brigade, 5th Division, which was destroyed, while a den was found by the 18th Brigade, which contained provisions and various ammunition that were destroyed."
He added, "Al-Jazeera Operations Command was able to find, within the axis of the 38th Brigade, south of Kubaisa, a den containing (a booby-trapped bicycle, 10 82 mm mortar rounds, 4 others 120 mm caliber, two mortar plates, explosive materials supplies and a banner for ISIS," noting that "the seized materials were dealt with fundamentally.”
He explained that "the security forces are still implementing the plan set for them."
