The representative of the organization, Ahmed Al-Zouiten, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The organization is working to combat the effects of cancerous diseases, including global warming," calling on "citizens in all the world to show a spirit of citizenship, reduce greenhouse gases, reduce car travel and resort to Bicycles and public transport to reduce gases.

He added, "Our health depends on the health of our food, water and air," noting that "there is an exacerbation of non-communicable diseases due to the lack of a good diet and excessive smoking."

He continued, "We are trying, by promoting the health of the citizen, to be an active individual in his health," stressing that "the Health Organization is seeking, with the Ministry of Health, to lay healthy foundations to advance the reality of health."

He pointed out that "during this year, we launched an initiative to promote local food, and we are trying to make the country the source of food, and not to import its food from abroad, and we are trying to have food, water and safe air for all citizens."
