National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji confirmed Saturday, that most of Daesh leaders are in prisons.
Al-Araji said during his speech at the conference held by the Al-Rafidain Center for Studies ,that attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): " Al-Hol camp in eastern Syria represents a real threat," noting that "there are more than 12 thousand terrorists belong to the Syrian Democratic Forces, and there are many attempts by ISIS to break these prisons."
He added that "The Joint Operations Command, the National Security Agency and the Intelligence Service have formed a security check team for all the IDPs from Al-Hol camp, and the this procedure will continue for other groups."
Al-Araji called on "The international community to stand with Iraq to dismantle this camp, and to transfer all the terrorists in al-Hol camp and send them to their countries for trial," stressing that "Iraq considers the areas of eastern Syria a real threat to its national security."
