Al-Kadhimi to the wounded demonstrators: The government has fulfilled what it promised you

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi praised the sacrifices of the demonstrators while confirming that the government fulfilled its promise to send them abroad for treatment.

Al-Kadhimi said in a statement issued by his office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), while receiving a group of wounded people from the October demonstrations with their families, before they traveled outside Iraq to receive treatment, that "the government fulfilled what it promised you and fulfilled your request for treatment outside Iraq.".

Al-Kadhimi congratulated the wounded youth and their families on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and praised their sacrifices and resistance for reform, and for meeting the true demands of citizens, wishing them a full recovery and safe travel. 

The Prime Minister praised the efforts of the person in charge of managing the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister’s Office, which made double efforts to overcome the slow travel procedures, due to the international conditions represented by the Corona pandemic, as well as the slow legislation and bureaucracy, according to the text of the statement.
