SMC: Dangerous terrorist arrested in Baghdad

A dangerous terrorist has been arrested in Baghdad, the security media cell announced Wednesday.

"Through the intelligence effort, the investigative department of the Popular Mobilization Authority in the capital Baghdad, after obtaining judicial approvals, was able to arrest a member of the ISIS terrorist gangs, who belongs to the so-called Wilayat of Fallujah," the cell said in a statement received by the official Iraqi news agency INA.

"The terrorist was working in the general military police as a terrorist military element," the statement said, adding that "the necessary legal measures have been taken against him to complete his investigative papers."
