Launching new Security operation in Khanaqin

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced today, Thursday, the launch of a new security operation in Khanaqin district.
PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The leadership of Diyala operations sector at PMF launched a security operation to pursue ISIS cells in Khanaqin district."
The statement added, "The operation involved the command brigades and their forces, represented by the 1st, 23rd, 28th and 110th brigades to completely secure the areas adjacent to the Alwand River in Khanaqin district."
