INA - BAGHDAD Iraqi Minister of Water Resources, Hassan al-Janabi, announced on Monday that the work to resume in al-Manathera irrigation regulator is to be at the beginning of next year. In a tour around Najaf province, attended by INA, al-Janabi said that the project was resumed after a suspension since 2014. The work was achieved by the efforts of the Ministry and the required sums allocated by the PM which amounts to IQD 86 billion. The MOWR stated that the work is ongoing by the engineering staff at the ministry and the project will greatly serve locals and agricultural regions in the province.
